I am an independent Occupational Therapist for children, adolescents/young adults and adults . I am passionate about supporting individuals to maximise their independence. I have 30years of experience working across NHS, voluntary, private and independent sectors, I have a range of specialist skills, knowledge and resources to draw on to help individuals of all ages and abilities to participate in activities that are important to them. My areas of clinical expertise and interest are in working with children and adults with complex physical needs as a result if a brain injury and supporting children, young people who are neuro-diverse and/or learning disability, genetic or neurological conditions. I am passionate about postural management and have PCG certificate in this and extensive experience in centres in Centres of Excellence working assessing for wheelchairs, postural seating, other postural management equipment and assistive technology. I also specialise in Moving and handling.
In addition to this, I provide detailed reports for contributing to EHCP and tribunals and work in a specialist school for children who are Neurodiverse.
I am based near Bicester. My private practice provides occupational therapy services to individuals and families mostly across Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Buckinghamshire and along the M40 corridor from Birmingham to West London. I am also prepared to travel further afield for complex cases and have travelled abroad in the past and have clients in Eastbourne and Poole.
I work with a number of organisations including the NHS in West London, education (mainstream, specialist and non-traditional schools), medical legal teams, Deputies, GP's, Local Authorities, and supported living organisations.
