The RCOT Specialist Section-Independent Practice is led by a team of volunteers who sit on the National Executive Committee (NEC).
Overall responsibility for leading and representing RCOT Specialist Section-Independent Practice.
Responsible for providing support to the Chair.
Responsible for setting sustainable, transparent and accountable financial procedures to manage the core business within the membership income stream.
Responsible for the management and delivery of our Start Up and Succeed course; and the development of other business start-up training opportunities.
Responsible for the management and delivery of our NEW webinar programme and the development of other business development training opportunities.
Responsible for the development/delivery and support of events and CPD.
Responsible for the identification, development and promotion of research opportunities and the management of the Innovation Award.
Responsible for social media communications (i.e. sending out messages agreed by the NEC).

Responsible for bridging the gap between the NEC and the regions and supporting the work of all regional contacts.
Responsible for all matters relating to our existing website; and the planned move to the RCOT website.
Responsible for bridging the gap between the NEC and the MLF and assisting in the organisation/delivery of the ML Conference.
Responsible for the development of SSIP policy re. approach to Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) members. In post from Mar22.
