Wayne qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2008, consolidating his skills as a therapist in NHS provision of services in the community, intermediate care and the private sector for rehabilitation, posture management, crisis intervention and manual handling. More recently working in support of statutory & wheelchair services, focusing on 24-hour postural management, minor/major adaptations, discharge planning and conducting private assessments for the public.

Wayne has extensive links with local and national equipment providers and can help to source what you need. At Ocean City Therapy he has the flexibility to provide assessments that�s mutually convenient and, in a timely manner.
Wayne and Ocean City Therapy will tailor the intervention to each person�s needs and wishes, providing short and complex interventions with treatment plans or, training for handling people and equipment. He will maintain communication, advising case managers, care agencies, Health & Social Care services and individuals throughout the assessment process.
Having a comprehensive portfolio including rehabilitation, risk management and complex manual handling, he is able to provide assessment and treatment plans, reviews, prescription of equipment and environmental adaptions, for individuals and organisations needs individually or, for a contracted period of time.
Wayne is highly skilled in assessing and treating a wide variety of conditions and abilities, including amputee, trauma and orthopaedic, motor neurone disease, to name but a few, providing, wheelchair, complex seating, posture, 24-hour management and manual handling training for children and adults.
