OT33 Occupational Therapy Services Ltd

I specialise in accessible housing, equipment and moving and handling solutions with 18 years clinical experience working alongside people with a wide range of conditions. I apply a solution focused, creative approach to creating safe living environments that are functional and inclusive; whilst supporting family members and carers along the way. During my career I have developed a range of specialisms including housing, assistive technology and moving and handling. I am a qualified moving and handling trainer - Quality assured by RoSPA and can complete risk assessments, moving and handling instructions, and deliver theory and practical training for both adults and children. I have extensive knowledge of the DFG process and wheelchair accessible housing, including completing reports and specifications and working alongside architects. I believe in listening to a person's priorities and I apply a person centred strength-based approach with all of my clients - working in line with personal goals. During my occupational therapy career I have been fortunate enough to work collaboratively with case managers and other healthcare professionals and carers to deliver the support a person needs to meet their priorities and goals.
