Tessa is a Specialist Neuro and lead Occupational Therapist with over 8 years experience providing support to adult and older adult patients in a wide variety of diagnostic groups, including Brain injury, Stroke, CMT, Parkinson's, SCI and MS, Care of the Elderly, and Orthopedics. She is passionate about supporting you to reach your maximum level of functional independence in your own home, and community, including advice and rehab treatment of fatigue management, upper limb/ fine motor rehab, sensory re-education, cognitive assessments and memory and attention rehab, sex and intimacy advice and aids and adaptations to enhance energy conservation, reduced falls risk and promote independence. She has an academic background of Bsc in sport science, to support improvement and maintenance in balance, mobility and falls prevention within your home environment and adaptation recommendations before or after hospital admission. Tessa is able to support via virtual or face to face, either a one off assessment plus report, or bespoke rehabilitation depending on your specific needs.
