I have over 20 years of experience working in the NHS and private sector with adults and children. I have worked in hospitals, rehabilitation centres and clinics, the community, schools, and in people’s homes. I also have medicolegal experience as an expert witness.
As an occupational therapist and a mom of a child with special needs, I value working with children, young people, families, guardians and carers. I am passionate about children and young people thriving. This has resulted in me establishing Dedoro Ltd, an independent occupational therapy service based in Northamptonshire. I support children and young people with neurological and physical difficulties, including brain injury and cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome. I value partnering with children and young people to enable and enhance their participation with functional activities that are important to them. These activities may include washing, dressing, handwriting, play, leisure activities, and transitioning to independent living.
I work with children and young people in their homes, educational settings and in the community.
