For over 20 years, I’ve specialised in working with children and young people presenting with sensory needs and motor difficulties - including Dyspraxia (Developmental Co-ordination Disorder), Autistic Spectrum Disorder and learning difficulties.
I offer detailed sensory, motor and perceptual assessments enabling clear recommendations to be made to parents and schools; with intervention in either a child’s home, school or Sensory Integration facility.
In addition to my work with families, I also provide services to schools and Local Authorities. This can include assessments, individual or group intervention and training in sensory and motor needs and attachment.
For children who are fostered or adopted, sensory integration intervention is attachment focused to take account of Developmental Trauma. Some families are accessing this service via the Adoption Support Fund.
Based near Shrewsbury, I regularly work with children in Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands, both for these Local Authorities and directly for families.
