I am an Occupational Therapist with over 19 years’ clinical experience, including eight years specialising in neurological rehabilitation. This has included stroke services, acquired brain injury rehabilitation, and supporting individuals living with chronic health conditions.
My approach is practical and person-centred. I take time to understand what matters most to each individual and design therapy around real-life routines and meaningful roles. I support people to rebuild skills, confidence and independence in their daily lives — including returning to work, returning to driving, and resuming valued roles and activities. Using functional rehabilitation combined with education, pacing and self-management strategies, I help people make meaningful progress in everyday participation. Where approriate, I incorporate cognitive and emotional strategies to enhance well-being, motivation and recovery.
I am experienced in community-based rehabilitation and multidisciplinary working. I collaborate closely with families, carers and other professionals, ensuring clear communication and joined-up care throughout the therapy journey. I welcome referrals from individuals, health and social care teams, and charitable organisations seeking home and community-based neurological rehabilitation.
Therapy typically takes place in clients’ homes or work environments, so improvements transfer directly to everyday activities and routines. I work primarily across Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Leicestershire, with flexibility to travel further by arrangement.
