Sarah is a state registered OT who qualified in 1994 and has specialised in Paediatrics, working in community and hospital settings, including Great Ormond Street Hospital and more recently the Children's Community Service, Oxfordshire. Sarah has maintained close links with valued colleagues and can offer a team approach as necessary, including linking with Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy.
Sarah believes in putting the child at the centre of therapy, making achievable goals with the child/family/school and offering an eclectic package of intervention, depending on individual needs. Experience includes working with children with Cerebral Palsy, Dyspraxia and Sensory Processing Difficulties within schools and homes.
Sarah has extensive post graduation training including Bobath and Sensory Integration, levels 1, 2, 3 & 4. She believes that therapy should be fun and that children learn best when they are enjoying themselves and therapy is play based.
