Sarah Cullen B.A., M.Sc. Occupational Therapy | HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist

Sarah E Cullen

Independent Occupational Therapist and Rehabilitation Case Manager supporting adults whose health conditions affect their everyday functioning, work and quality of life.

My practice focuses on understanding how a person's health interacts with their everyday occupations, habits, routines and environments to develop practical, evidence-informed strategies that support meaningful and sustainable change.

I practise predominantly within community rehabilitation, supporting adults with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and musculoskeletal (MSK) injuries. My work particularly considers the impact of cognitive and executive functioning difficulties (including ADHD), mood and adjustment, pain, fatigue, and long-term health conditions on everyday functioning, participation and self-management across home, education, work and community settings.

I am currently undertaking the certification pathway in Lifestyle Redesign® through the University of Southern California, an internationally recognised occupational therapy intervention that supports health and wellbeing through meaningful everyday occupations.

I work within privately funded rehabilitation, coordinating multidisciplinary rehabilitation as a Rehabilitation Case Manager and providing occupational therapy as a privately instructed Occupational Therapist.

Alongside client work, I have a particular interest in clinical supervision for occupational therapists working within independent practice, case managed personal injury rehabilitation, and role emerging areas of practice. My supervision draws on occupation-based clinical reasoning underpinned by the Occupational Therapy Intervention Process Model (OTIPM) and integrates reflective practice and established supervisory models to support occupational therapists in developing confident, evidence-based and theory-informed practice.
