Ronel Terblanche's profile

Ronel Terblanche B. Occupational Therapy MSc. Neurological Rehabilitation

The OT Cooperative

Ronel qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2000 in South Africa and moved to the UK in 2001. She started working within military neurological rehabilitation in 2005 and in 2009 became part of the team that designed and implemented the mild traumatic brain injury service. She has worked, both within the military and privately within the field of sports concussion and neurology, for over 17 years and has gained knowledge and experience in evaluating and treating these multifaceted conditions and other neurological conditions. The complexity of neurological injuries, especially mild TBI/concussion are challenging and require a holistic approach to meet the individual’s needs and to support them to rebuild their independence. Ronel is a highly motivated clinician with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and her clients’ holistic needs are at the forefront of their treatment plans. She provides specialist Occupational Therapy for individuals via self-referral, case management/insurance referrals and via specialist clinics.
