Rehana qualified in 2001 and has worked as an independent practitioner since2008. Specialises in acquired brain injury and complex neurological conditions; works in case management completing in-depth immediate needs assessments - planning and advocating for a client; works in the medico-legal field providing expert witness care reports for solicitors; and has expertise in the area of aids and adaptations. Rehana has worked in the NHS as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a variety of clinical settings, including acute rehabilitation, community and social care. She assesses and implements flexible, client-centred rehabilitation programmes, establishing short-term and long-term goals which are focused on the individual�s specific needs using standardised assessments such as the CAM. Rehana provides in-depth reports with comprehensive recommendations and advice. Rehana delivers ABI rehabilitation training for support staff to enable them to carry on with a recommended programme. Rehana believes that communication is an essential part of rehabilitation, and she provides case managers with updates on the clients progress through SOAP notes. Rehana currently works as an independent ABI provider for- Voyage Care, assessing clients with complex needs and providing client centred rehabilitation programmes. Rehab without Walls providing sessional work and ILS as a case manager. Rehana is dedicated to continuing professional development and attends courses regularly to update her practice ensuring the best possible service and outcome for all her clients.
