I am one of three Directors at Empower Me Occupational Therapy Ltd. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to participate fully in the activities that matter most to them and we are dedicated to helping our clients achieve their goals.
I have extensive experience in managing complex cases and co-ordinating safe and timely discharges. I have specialised in A&E, trauma orthopaedics, general medicine, care of the elderly, stroke and rehabilitation, with a strong focus on restoring function and independence in daily living. With a special interest in falls prevention and environmental modifications, I am committed to enabling safety and autonomy through practical, evidence based interventions.
In addition to my clinical expertise, I am passionate about supporting others to grow and succeed. I actively enjoy mentoring, sharing knowledge and fostering the development of both qualified and non qualified staff. I bring a supportive, empowering approach to supervision and team development.
Beyond my clinical role, I have contributed to service improvement through clinical audits and quality initiatives. I have presented at professional conferences and had work published in OT News, reflecting my commitment to advancing occupational therapy practice and engaging with the wider professional community.
