Rachael Ash

Rachael is a Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist with 14 years’ experience in complex disability and neurological conditions. She is passionate about supporting children and young people with a range of physical and neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism and sensory processing difficulties to maximise their independence, wellbeing and access to education.

Rachael works with children, young people and their families at home and in school to complete full assessments, create bespoke sensory and physical programmes which support sensory regulation, emotional regulation, handwriting and functional tasks e.g., dressing, as well as contributing to EHCP assessments and reviews, including tribunals.

In addition, Rachael works part time at a specialist residential school for students with profound and multiple physical and learning disability, and has expertise in assistive technology, moving and handling, postural management, specialist equipment and adaptations.

Rachael also provides training to parents, schools and professionals to help further support children’s needs.
