Philippa Horler

Philippa is a Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist who has over 20 years experience working with children, in particular those with complex physical needs as well as sensory processing difficulties. She has broad experience working as an Occupational Therapist with adults and children aged from birth upward with physical, neurological and learning disabilities. She has worked in a variety of settings including nurseries, schools, child development centres, rehab centres and the community. She has worked within the private sector in the UK and abroad, as well as the local authority, NHS and charity sectors. As a result, she has gained skills in assessment and treatment to all ages presenting with a wide range of conditions. Her experience in sensory processing, equipment provision and major adaptations allows her to provide comprehensive assessment, specialist advice and recommendations to ensure a child�s independence is maximised at home and in school as well as meeting the needs of those caring for the child. Philippa is currently completing her post graduate sensory integration practitioner training, to increase her knowledge and skills to be able to provide specialist assessments and treatment sessions for children with sensory processing difficulties. Philippa covers Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey areas.
