Pam Foreman Occupational Therapy Services

I am an Occupational Therapist with over 28 years expertise working in the field of acquired brain injury with young people and adults. I have gained a broad range of experience in variety of neurological rehabilitation settings including NHS acute and inpatient work for 12 years and community neuro rehabilitation in the private sector for 15 years. I consider it a great privilege to work alongside people to maximise their independence in aspects of their lives which matter most. I undertake comprehensive assessments in order to fully understand a client’s needs and wishes and their potential. I am skilled in writing comprehensive reports with clear recommendations focussed around goals which are meaningful to the individual client. Bespoke rehabilitation programmes and interventions are undertaken to maximise recovery and improve quality of life. This may include strategies to manage cognitive difficulties, fatigue management, growing independence and confidence in activities of daily living, aiding participation in productive activities including employment, training support workers and carers, and providing education, information and advice. Referrals are invited from individuals, case managers, solicitors and other third parties. I work predominantly in the East of England (Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Essex, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire) but am happy to travel within a two-hour radius of Bury St Edmunds. I can offer face to face and remote therapy sessions.
