I'm a specialist paediatric occupational therapist and an Advanced Sensory Integration Therapist with a passion for supporting children and young people to thrive in their daily lives. Through my independent practice, Orla Paediatric OT, I provide individualised assessment, intervention, and family-centred support for children experiencing sensory processing differences, motor coordination difficulties, attention, and self-care challenges.
I use evidence-based approaches to support children with a range of needs including sensory integration difficulties, developmental coordination disorder (DCD/dyspraxia), autism, and emotional regulation challenges. I work closely with families, schools, and other professionals to develop practical strategies that help children build confidence and function successfully across home, school, and community environments.
In addition to direct therapy, I offer bespoke training packages for schools, nurseries, and parents—delivered either in-person or remotely. These sessions are tailored to the needs of each setting or group and focus on increasing understanding and confidence around sensory needs, motor development, and inclusive support strategies.
Some assessment and consultation services can also be offered remotely, providing flexible access to support where needed. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in a deep belief in each child’s potential. I aim to empower families and professionals with the tools they need to support meaningful, lasting change.
