Liv is an experienced and highly trained Occupational Therapist whose roles have been across both paediatric and adult settings including SEND primary and secondary schools, children’s residential homes, older adult settings and community and inpatient mental health rehabiltation services.
Liv specialises in working with individuals with Autism, ADHD, sensory differences, mental health needs, trauma and anxiety.
Liv holds an MSc in Occupational Therapy, a Postgraduate Certificate in Equine Facilitated Therapy, and a BA (Hons) in Interactive Arts. She is trained in EcoSensory Therapy and is certified in both paediatric and outdoor first aid.
Liv is the director and occupational therapist at Maverick Therapies, a nature based and horse assisted therapy service located in the beautiful Cornish countryside. Maverick Therapies provides trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming support, offering a safe and nurturing environment for children, young people, and adults to thrive.
