With over 15 years of experience, I am an Independent Occupational Therapist and certified Moving and Handling Trainer, specialising in physical cognitive, and learning disabilities. My work spans acute hospitals, social services, community rehabilitation in both private and public sectors. I focus on aid and adaptations, manual handling, safeguarding, and care plan management.

I deliver tailored training to clients and caregivers, ensuring safe and effective care practices. I also collaborate with case managers and solicitors, providing vocational rehabilitation and expert witness services in legal cases. I am a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapy Specialists and the British Association of Occupational Therapists, and I am registered with the HCPC.

My expertise extends to working in schools with children with Autism and ADHD, offering a holistic approach, intervention programs, assessments, and support for educational transitions. Fluent in English and Somali, proficient in Arabic, and familiar with British Sign Language, I am dedicated to overcoming cultural barriers and enhancing client's quality of life and wellbeing.
