I have been a Paediatric Occupational Therapist since 1997 having qualified as an O.T in 1996. I left the NHS in 2018 after 22 years to become a fully independent OT. This has given me flexibility to offer more in terms of days and times for clinics and assessments and allows me to give each client the time needed for their individual requirements. My work as a paediatric O.T is diverse but I specialise in mainstream settings and children with DCD. I carry out assessments in gross and fine motor skills, handwriting, daily life skills and perception as well as gait and mobility. I currently run therapy sessions and clinics from my room in Elland. In addition, I offer professional supervision and small equipment loan. I also offer assessment for DSA, PIP for undergraduate students and adult assessments Arrangements can also be made for SI assessments and speech and language assessments, carried out by colleagues. I am able to signpost to other agencies should that be necessary.
