I work with both children and adults with a range of conditions and disabilities. My clinical experience includes chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and other long term conditions, pain, fatigue, trauma and orthopaedics, addiction and dependency, gastroenterology and liver disease, care of the elderly and falls, cognitive dysfunction, learning disabilities and autism, and general surgery (including stoma care). I am skilled at assessing the client in relation to their physical, cognitive and psychosocial functioning, as well as their environment and housing needs. I am highly competent in implementing a variety of treatment techniques, including fatigue and activity management, anxiety management, life skills and education strategies, to maximise engagement in activities and independence. I have worked with both children and adults and their carers, covering a breadth of functional disability, acquired brain injuries and long term conditions.
