I am an experienced highly specialised Paediatric Occupational Therapist with a demonstrated history of working in a wide range of paediatric settings and areas. I am skilled in Clinical Research and and I have a strong professional background with a Master of Advancing Practice in Occupational Therapy focused in Paediatrics, Autism, Sensory Integration/Regulation from the University of Ulster. I am a certified Bobath trained therapist and have experience in paediatric splinting, 24 hours postural management, adoption and transition work for teenagers. I am representing clients at tribunals and assessed for education heath care plans. I am SCERTS trained and have worked in a range of ASD resource bases as well as NHS based paediatric community services. I am the director of DOTS for children Ltd. I have presented my work as a guest speaker at the OT show, RCOT conference and European conferences of the sensory integration network and the college of occupational therapy annual conference. I am specialising in supporting other professionals through clinical supervision and mentoring. I provide virtual therapy, home visits, school and residential care visits.
