I am an occupational therapist with nearly five years of experience specialising in neurological rehabilitation. My background spans NHS immediate care and discharge planning, brain injury units, community rehabilitation, and specialist rehabilitation centres, covering the full rehabilitation pathway within the NHS and independently.
I work with adults following acquired brain injury, stroke, and spinal cord injury, as well as those with complex functional rehabilitation needs. My practice is holistic and home-visit focused; meaningful occupation is central to recovery and quality of life.
My clinical skills include cognitive rehabilitation, moving and handling assessments including manual hoists, Sara Steady, and Return aids, provision and recommendation of independent living aids, minor adaptations, and environmental access visits for safe, independent living. I cover Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and the Peak District, travelling up to 90 minutes from Sheffield to reach clients across the region.
I am HCPC registered with CPD fully maintained. My clinical practice is grounded in established skills across cognitive rehabilitation, functional rehabilitation, upper limb rehabilitation, and generic seating and equipment assessment, and I am committed to deepening this expertise through ongoing postgraduate training including forthcoming study with Allards in hand and wrist rehabilitation. My approach is evidence-based and client-centred; I work collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve meaningful, lasting outcomes.
I accept referrals from case managers, solicitors, and direct self-referrals. Within medico-legal pathways, I work as an assessing and treating therapist, providing clinical assessment, rehabilitation, and detailed reporting to support legal proceedings.
