I am an HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist (MSc) with experience across acute hospitals, community services, Adult Social Care, reablement, long-term and complex teams, as well as independent practice including case management and medico-legal work.
My specialist areas include functional assessment, complex moving and handling, major adaptations, housing and void assessments, seating, specialist equipment provision, falls prevention, and supporting adults with complex needs to live safely and independently at home.
I work with adults, family carers and organisations to provide practical, proportionate solutions that balance safety, independence and quality of life. This includes supporting complex care planning, safer moving and handling, risk management, rehabilitation, and navigating health and social care systems.
I undertake case management and contribute to medico-legal work, bringing a structured, evidence-based and proportionate approach to assessment, report writing and complex decision-making. I also bring experience in professional supervision, workforce development, training delivery and operational leadership within Adult Social Care.
Alongside clinical practice, I develop OT-informed educational resources for family carers through Handlewell Academy, translating professional knowledge into clear, practical guidance that complements statutory services and supports prevention.
