I qualified in 2009 and have worked in a variety of roles since this time. Including forensics, learning disabilities,autism, clinical coaching and functional and mental health assessments. In 2019 I decided to add to my skillset by training to be a person centred counsellor and have gained experience of working within the trauma field and more specifically sexual trauma.
I decided to set up beyond survival OT solutions to provide specialist OT services for those affected by sexual violence. My unique combination of skills and own lived experience of sexual trauma have given me a unique ability to help others whose lives have been affected by this often life changing experience and help them move beyond surviving to thriving.
