As an independent Occupational Therapist, I am passionate about placing clients at the heart of my practice. I am known for my compassionate approach and for building trusting therapeutic relationships, always delivering evidence-based, client-centred interventions.
I work closely with each individual to set meaningful SMART goals, conducting thorough assessments to design and implement tailored OT plans.
My experience spans complex trauma and orthopaedics, neurology, mental health, dementia care, and environmental adaptations, including seating and wheelchair assessments, all aimed at promoting safety, independence, and a better quality of life.
I am committed to advancing professional practice, sharing my knowledge through lectures, webinars, and supervision. A highlight of my career has been leading improvements in NHS dementia care, embedding activity-focused programmes that encourage a “doing with” approach, and developing carer support services with Cardiff and Vale NHS UHB to empower informal carers.
Vocational Rehabilitation is a particular passion of mine, I love helping people overcome barriers to meaningful work and supporting them to achieve their health, wellbeing, and personal goals.
I provide clinical supervision, mentoring and coaching to OT and students supporting the professional development of others.
My warm, empathetic style and strong clinical reasoning ensure that every client receives thoughtful, personalised care designed to make a real difference.
