I am a highly specialist occupational therapist providing comprehensive assessment, rehabilitation and planning for present and future needs. I specialise in equipment and minor and major home adaptations. I work with clients across Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire and Bedfordshire, providing help with permanent and temporary conditions affected by physical and neurological conditions.
I am very experienced with moving and handling using a variety of tools and equipment to maximise quality of life, comfort and safety. I have developed a strong skill set in the delivery of thorough and comprehensive assessments for adult care, particularly functional assessment and rehabilitation. I have an eye for detail which makes my evaluations and recommendations person-centred. My objective is to enable my clients to live comfortably and to promote independence for a fulfilling quality of life. I can provide one-off assessments or ongoing client-centred and goal-focused rehabilitation - in the client home, care settings and/or communities. I provide advice and practical support related to tasks in the areas such as personal care, daily activities, leisure activities, and accessing the community to promote independence and wellbeing.
