Melanie Akas Occupational Therapy Bsc(Hons), Young Leader Award Winner 2022
Eiko Therapy
As the founder of Eiko Therapy, my focus is always on helping individuals live a life of joy and overcome barriers, whether that is returning to daily routines, managing sensory needs, or participating more fully in home, school, or community life.
I’m a dual trained Occupational Therapist and my journey with occupational therapy started 10 years ago, supporting people across physical, developmental, and mental health contexts.
Eiko therapy provides occupational therapy and consultancy services for children and adults with both physical and mental health needs. We specialise in joined up support so whether you are managing anxiety, recovering from injury, accessing education, or building independence skills, you do not need to see multiple professionals. We provide integrated OT that fits around your life.
We offer full assessments and tailored therapy plans, and we work flexibly, visiting people in their homes, schools, or other community settings. Every plan is practical, personalised, and grounded in real world outcomes.
If you are looking for therapists who can meet a range of needs in one place and who will work alongside you to create change that lasts, we would love to support you. We foster a culture of love and hope to contribute towards making the world and our clients’ lives a brighter place, one interaction at a time.
We also have consultancy experience and have worked with care organisations, local councils and schools to deliver work and support. We are familiar with case management work and are able to offer OT assessments and provision for case managers.
