Home Independence Hub

I established Home Independence Hub to provide a complete, one-stop-shop, person-centred approach supporting people to live independently at home. Our experienced team of Occupational Therapists, Surveyors Specialist Equipment Assessors, OT Assistants and Assistive Technology Specialists work collaboratively to turn individual needs into practical, lasting solutions. Whether you need rehabilitation following injury, planning a home adaptation, exploring assistive technology, or need expert assessment, supply, and maintenance of specialist equipment, we bring the right mix of clinical insight and technical expertise to help people live safely and independently at home. I ensure my hunger to deliver positive outcomes for our clients is engrained in the service we provide.

Since qualifying as an occupational therapist in 2013, I have gained invaluable experience of working with clients across the NHS, local authorities and the private sector. I am experienced in assessing life changing illness and injuries and understand progression of long-term conditions. I work with adults of all ages and have experience of assessing and treating a range of complex conditions including but not limited to acquired brain injury, progressive neurological diseases, orthopaedic conditions, multi-trauma and spinal injuries. I am experienced with utilising my clinical skills to provide comprehensive assessments and reports, giving clear clinical reasoning to ensure my decision making is backed by evidence. My knowledge and work experience in rehabilitation gives me a comprehensive understanding around client’s potential of recovery and enables me to identify suitable rehabilitation goals. I regularly work with case managers, deputies, solicitors, contractors, surveyors and equipment representatives to ensure provision meets the client’s assessed needs. I provide rehabilitation, equipment and recommendations for adaptations to support clients to live independently at home.

I work with a small but highly experienced team and we put our clients at the heart of our work and are passionate about supporting them to live their lives to the best of their abilities.
