Mary is an experienced highly specialist neurological rehabilitation Occupational Therapist. Since qualifying from the University of Southampton in 2002, Mary has worked within private, NHS and social care sector in the UK, Ireland and Australia. Mary enjoys helping clients regain/maintain as much independence as possible.
Mary has completed extensive additional post-graduate training as a trusted assessor for aids/adaptations, in cognitive rehabilitation, seating/positioning assessments, hand therapy, bobath (neurological retraining for brain injury), solution based counselling, motivational interviewing and addressing emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Mary's speciality is working with people after stroke, acquired brain injury, and spinal injuries. However, she has also worked with a range of people with chronic and progressive physical conditions and illnesses and can tailor her interventions to whatever your needs are.
