Lucy Rogers's profile

Lucy Rogers Bsc Hons Occupational Therapy Pg Dip Accessibility and Inclusive Design

In-House OT Service

I have worked in Occupational Therapy for more than 20 years and have specialised in adaptations and accessibility for over 10 years.

I work with people of all ages and abilities and in a variety of locations including, private homes, residential accommodation, businesses, charities, educational and leisure facilities, as well as being involved in designing new buildings and homes from the initial planning stages.

I work closely with my clients to identify their priorities and needs, ensuring their wishes and preferences are always reflected in any plans and decision-making. In consultation with my clients and, where required, their architects, surveyors and contractors, I help create environments which are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. My focus is always on meeting the environmental needs to maximise independence, safety and enhance quality of life of the individual.

Making changes to your home can be a daunting prospect, often requiring a lot of disruption and cost, so it pays to get the right professional OT advice as early as possible in any design and planning phases.

I am a member of the British Association of Occupational Therapists, as well as the College of OT Specialist Sections in both Independent Practice and Housing.

I am passionate and deeply committed to bridging the gap between Social Care, Health and Housing and in providing my clients with a professional, caring person-centred service.

Now covering London through to Bristol.
