Lucy Coulson's profile

Lucy Coulson

Imaginative and adaptable occupational therapist with extensive experience working in community settings with adults of working age and older people with complex physical disabilities, longer term conditions, cognitive impairment, frailty, learning disabilities, neurodiversity, and falls.

I observe, listen, respect and collaborate with an individual and those involved in their support to identify what is important to them to maintain their health and wellbeing, and to formulate strategies to enable them to participate fully in the activities of everyday life that are meaningful to them.

I complete community-based assessments (individual’s home, community, care home, supported living environment or virtual) – including but not limited to: transfers, mobility, participation in personal care and household tasks, accessing the community, falls prevention advice, minor and major adaptations assessment and advice, moving and positioning assessment and advice, postural assessment, seating, specialist equipment, technology enabled care (TEC), carer support and advice.
