Over my career, I have worked in a variety of paediatric, mental health and autism settings. I have a particular interest in Neurodevelopmental Conditions, Sensory Processing Difficulties and Dyspraxia.
Within children’s occupational therapy I am proficient at assessing a child’s development and planning intervention to support their developmental needs.
I am able to provide assessments and reports suitable for EHCP applications and tribunal purposes. I am also experienced at giving evidence at SENDIST Hearings.
My work with adults often involves sensory assessments and coaching to help the person develop skills to function in their daily activities. I also support autistic adults with workplace skills.
I receive a lot of referrals related to sensory processing challenges. I hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI) and am qualified to deliver ASI Therapy.
For guidance the following fees apply (travel and mileage is charged in addition):
• Occupational Therapy Sessions - £110 per hour • Dyspraxia (DCD) Assessment - £850 • Sensory / Functional Assessment - £1000 • SENDIST Assessment- £1400
Note: an assessment without full report is feasible and is substantially cheaper. I always work as flexibly as possible to meet people’s needs. Please make contact for further discussion.
