Lisa has a wealth of experience of working with children and young people, having qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2002. Having worked in the NHS as well as private practice she understands the challenges often encountered by families. Lisa has extensive experience in NHS CAMHS and Neurodevelopmental Services, as well as working in CAMHS in New Zealand and as a teaching assistant in Shanghai, China.
Lisa has specialist skills at working with children and young people with Neurodevelopmental conditions such as ASD and ADHD. She uses a sensory integration approach as well as mental health and occupation-based approaches. She also enjoys facilitating groups with young people to address mental health needs such as anxiety and emotional regulation, as well as delivering parent and teacher workshops.
