I am an HCPC registered occupational therapist with over 13 years’ experience in the field, and a further background in health and social care. I have worked across NHS, local authority, and private settings, with individuals experiencing a wide range of health concerns.
My work focuses on understanding how health impacts everyday life, and supporting people to re-engage with daily activities, relationships, hobbies and work in a way that feels manageable and sustainable.
I provide assessment and intervention for individuals experiencing a range of mental health and neurodivergent presentations, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, OCD, PTSD, and related difficulties. My approach integrates occupational therapy with mindfulness, somatic and trauma-informed perspectives especially when working with mental health and neurodivergence.
I also draw on broader occupational therapy experience, including work with individuals with physical health conditions and complex functional challenges. In these instances the need for equipment and minor or major adaptations may be required to enable people to engage in daily life.
I maintain ongoing professional development and work in line with the standards of relevant regulatory and professional organisations.
I work one to one with people who experience challenges in regard to their mental health or neurodivergence. I also am involved in creative community projects in my local area which aim to improve mental health and wellbeing through the use of creative activity.
Along with this I work with charities, case managers, insurance companies and other organisations to provide comprehensive assessments and, if required, ongoing therapeutic input. I am particularly well placed to work with people experiencing both physical and mental health concerns.
