I am an experienced Occupational Therapist with over 14 years of practice, specialising in paediatrics and supporting children, adolescents, and young adults to develop independence and participation in daily living. I provide specialist assessments, tailored advice, and interventions that help individuals overcome barriers and reach their potential.
I have extensive expertise working with autism, ADHD, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH), learning disabilities, complex needs, and challenging behaviour. My client-centred, collaborative approach draws on sensory-based strategies, sensory integration, and functional skill development to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Throughout my career, I have worked across NHS services, the private sector, clinics, schools (mainstream and specialist), and community settings. I collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, families, and key individuals to ensure a holistic service. Where appropriate, I work alongside a therapy assistant to provide additional support.
My skills also include equipment provision, signposting, and networking with suppliers for both basic and complex equipment needs. I maintain a strong professional network of Occupational Therapists and allied health professionals, engaging in peer supervision and mentoring to support ongoing development.
I am passionate about working with children and young people and have a particular interest in sensory-based approaches. I believe every client is unique and pride myself on delivering personalised, practical, and meaningful support that builds on individual strengths.
