My background is working within mental health care services in a variety of settings including people in their own homes, rehabilitation services, locked wards, secure units and the prison service. I have also worked with young people and children in residential care and school settings. I work with children with a range of needs including childhood trauma, mental health needs, Autism and more. I have vast experience with chronic mental health needs, addiction, neurological disabilites, Autism, Learning disabilities and acquired brain injury. I also support schools with sensory training and positive behavioural support and helping young people with emotional regulation and transitions. I provide 1:1 interventions to help people reach their therapy goals.
I once even won a funding award from the Royal College of Occupational Therapy which enabled me to go ahead with my unique idea of flying myself out to rural Nepal to pilot volunteering in a prison (as you do).
I am based in North Wales and willing to travel for work within North Wales, Cheshire, North West and Mid England. There could also be the option for remote working if it is appropriate.
