I'm Katie, an occupational therapist specialising in ADHD support for adults. I run ADHD Unboxed in South Yorkshire, working with people who are tired of one-size-fits-all advice that doesn't fit their life.
As an OT, I assess how you're functioning day-to-day - not just what your diagnosis says, but how ADHD actually shows up for you. At work. At home. In relationships. With money, time, energy. The real life stuff.
I've got ADHD myself, so I get it. The frustration when strategies that "should" work just don't. The constant mental juggling. The guilt about things you haven't done yet.
My approach is simple: we look at what's getting in your way, work out what might help, and you decide what fits. No telling you what to do. No complicated systems you'll abandon in three days. Just practical, personalised support that meets you where you are.
I work with the whole picture - your strengths, your struggles, what matters to you. Diagnosed, waiting for assessment, or still figuring it out - I work with people wherever they are in the process.
This isn't about fixing you. You're not broken. It's about finding what works for your brain so you can be well and live well, your way.
