Kathryn Di Virgilio Mental Health OT and Purpose People Ltd

Kathryn is a registered Occupational Therapist with over 15 years’ experience in mental health. She trained in Australia, specialising in mental health, and began her career in the inpatient service at The Melbourne Clinic, Australia’s largest private mental health service. She then returned to the UK to work in NHS community mental health, specialising in complex care.

Kathryn is highly experienced in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which complements the occupational therapy framework she uses to support clients. She established her private mental health practice in 2015, providing tailored, practical, evidence-based support to manage stress, anxiety, emotional regulation, and overall wellbeing. She also delivers the therapy programme for the PANDAS Foundation.

Kathryn is the clinical lead OT at Purpose People Ltd, an independent mental health practice, supporting adults, adolescents, young adults, and their families across a wide range of mental health challenges. She has extensive experience working with OCD, anxiety, depression, and complex presentations, in both inpatient and community settings.

Known for her grounded, practical approach, Kathryn helps people develop strategies that make a tangible difference in daily life.

She is registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
