Occupational Therapy At Home

Since qualifying as an Occupational Therapist in 1989, Kate has worked in a variety of locations. Initially for 16 years in the NHS, where she worked in both physical and mental health in patient and community settings. Then for 11 years within adult social care, where she worked with people in their own homes, both as a clinician, and as an OT Practice Supervisor.

Due to her years in adult social care, and then subsequent work as an Independent Occupational Therapist, she has excellent experience and knowledge of both equipment and home adaptations that can enable adults with a broad range of conditions to live even more safely and independently at home.

She enjoys working with adults of all ages and disabilities, and works with a holistic and client centred approach.
