From Doing To Being

Perimenopause can bring emotional overwhelm, anxiety, irritability, and a sense of losing who you are. If you’re feeling foggy, stretched thin, or disconnected from yourself, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to navigate this season without support.

I help women feel calmer, clearer, and more connected to themselves and to move through this transition with confidence and compassion.

We all experience perimenopause in different ways, and need different support.

Often our existing support networks may not be enough for us to feel heard, held, and supported through this time.

This is why The Perimenopause Support Space exists; it’s a place for women to come together and share the challenges, and any positives, of perimenopause and beyond.

I’ve worked in mental health services for 19 years, and continue to work two days per week in a NHS psychological therapies team. During this time, I’ve supported many people experiencing mental distress. As a result, I’m able to confidently and sensitively hold space for difficult thoughts and emotions, without rushing or minimising what you’re experiencing.

Continuing Professional Development has always been important to me. Over the years, I’ve expanded my practice through additional training in coaching, motivational interviewing, safeguarding, and supervision. All of this professional learning sits alongside my clinical experience and informs how I work with you today.

Beyond formal training, I’m continually learning about practices that help us feel more grounded and connected. For example, gratitude practices, time in nature, and meaningful rituals all influence the prompts, reflections, and sessions I share. Importantly, everything is offered as an invitation, so you’re free to take what feels helpful and leave what doesn’t.
