Jo Ritchie's profile

Jo Ritchie BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy HCPC

Jo Mount and Associates Ltd

I am an experienced Occupational Therapist, with over 20 years’ expertise working in the field of acquired brain injury. I have developed a sensitive working knowledge and understanding of the invisible deficits that acquired brain injury can cause and am well respected in my field.

As a dynamic, passionate and ambitious therapist, it is important that I work closely with the client to identify, set and prioritise their goals, achieving meaningful outcomes and positive change through bespoke, solution-focused interventions, all backed up with comprehensive, ongoing reports.

I have a wealth of experience supporting numerous individuals who have had an acquired brain injury and/or are living with long-term neurological conditions, within a broad range of settings including various NHS trusts.

I am also well-versed in providing bespoke training to assist support teams, families, solicitors and deputies in understanding the impact of brain injury and approaches to implement support plans. I guide all parties to becoming more aware and always strive to empower clients and ensure their voice is heard.

Referrals are invited from individuals, solicitors, case managers and other third parties, including insurance providers, health and social care, education and housing/charitable organisations. I pride myself on being a team player and always work in partnership with other key disciplines to deliver meaningful interventions that reflect the client’s goals. I work predominantly in Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire.
