OT Intuition is a trauma informed occupational therapy service supporting parents, caregiver and surrogates through periods of mental health challenge, identity transition and burnout. I specialise in perinatal mental health, including parent infant wellbeing, attachment and support with intrusive thoughts and OCD.
My approach integrates occupational therapy with sensory processing, nervous system regulation and values based frameworks to support individuals to reconnect with meaningful daily life. I work with people experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, identity shifts and difficulties engaging in everyday occupations such as parenting, self care, relationships and routine. I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ individuals, as well as non birthing parents, carers and those navigating alternative family pathways. My practice is inclusive, affirming and grounded in creating a safe space where individuals can explore their experiences without judgement. I offer personalised assessment and intervention, drawing on a range of approaches including sensory and interoceptive awareness, trauma informed practice and counselling informed skills. My focus is on helping individuals understand their internal experiences, develop practical strategies and move towards a way of living that feels aligned with their values and identity. Services are available online and in person in Bristol. I also offer consultation, workshops and professional support for organisations and practitioners.
