I am a specialist Occupational Therapist with over 25 years of experience working with children and young people. My experience includes working in educational settings, at home and outdoors. I have worked extensively with early years children contributing to the assessment and diagnosis of Autism as well as developing programmes for parent/carer/child intervention. In recent years I became a Certified Sensory Attachment Therapist, having completed the SAI level One Certification and completed Special yoga training. I am experienced in providing assessment, intervention and treatment programmes to address challenges neurodiverse children may have in their daily life. My passion for supporting children and young people to reach their potential has led me to work as a Nature-based OT...OT outdoors! The power of being in nature is well documented. Harnessing the benefits of nature to provide effective therapy addresses both daily participation challenges and emotional well-being, giving opportunity for positive change.
