As an experienced and passionate Occupational therapist, I provide person-focused and comprehensive functional assessments of all aspects of daily living to maximise independence for my clients. I have previous experience working predominantly with adults across both physical and mental health conditions, including with those who have complex and or dementia diagnoses.
Recommendations for major and minor adaptations, including technology and smart home equipment. Assessment for moving and handling equipment, recommendations, and assistance to source appropriate equipment as required.
Coaching and motivational interviewing form part of my skillset for the supervision of qualified and student Occupational Therapists. Additionally, I am also a visiting university lecturer in Occupational Therapy, providing support and guidance for students, particularly in non-traditional roles across the undergraduate and postgraduate pathways.
