I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2009, since then I have gained a wealth of experience in a range of mental health, community and paediatric settings.
I have always been passionate about mental health and as such have worked in secure units, supported living settings and community teams for around 10 years. I also have varied experience working with children young people, specifically those with ASD and social, emotional and mental health needs. I am trained to Level 2 in Sensory Integration and completed my Sensory Integration Post Graduate Certificate in 2022. I am passionate about my clients and working with them and their families/carers to empower them to achieve their goals. I have experience in leading Occupational Therapy departments, delivering training to professionals and families alike and also offering supportive clinical supervision to other therapists.
I focus on using client focused approaches and I strive to continuously increase my own knowledge and skills through my commitment to my ongoing professional development.
