Faith Newton's profile

Faith Newton I am a qualified Occupational Therapist and am registered with the Health Professions Care Council. I have training in PDA, Sensory Integration, and neuroaffirmative practice.

Neurodivergent Kids OT

I help children who are struggling at school or who are out of school by helping the adults around them understand their strengths and support needs.

My assessments are holistic and look at a child’s special interests, play and communication preferences, self-care skills, ability to complete school work and their sensory profile.

My reports can be used as evidence to support school adaptations, EHCPs, DLA claims and to support a diagnosis.

As a parent of autistic/PDA children myself I understand how important it is that you are listened to and believed. I will work in partnership with you to get the support you need for your child.

My focus in on understanding what adaptations your child needs at school and home to best engage in what they want to do and need to do.

I understand that your child’s needs impact on the whole family, and I have been trained in Acceptance and Commitment therapy which can support parents in adapting to the life they didn’t expect to have!

Testimonial from a parent:

"Faith communicates clearly in a friendly, welcoming manner. She has a good understanding of neurodiversity and the challenges parents can face and is non-judgmental. Her final report was professional and thorough with helpful suggestions. It was such a relief to finally have someone put into words what we have been struggling with!"
