Emma Shears's profile

Emma Shears BSc (Hons) MSc

OT is FAB Ltd

I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2000, i have 20+ years brain injury experience. I have experience working as a Case Manager, working with adults and children with brain injuries and cerebral palsy. This experience has broadened my skills and enabled me to take a true holistic view of clients needs, along with gaining an understanding of the litigation process and the impact this can have on a client and the family.

I have also completed a Masters in Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Case Management from the University of Birmingham.

I offer an independent Occupational Therapy Service specialising in the provision of high quality, person centred assessment and rehabilitation for adults in their own homes, work place or care environment.

I am full professional member of British Association of Occupational Therapists; registered with the Health and Care Professions Council; and a member of the College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Sections for Neurological Practice, Work and Independent Practice.

I volunteer with the Stroke Association and am the treasurer for the local stroke group.
