I qualified in 2008 from the University of Stellenbosch and have been working as a paediatric occupational therapist for the past 12 years. I have postgraduate training in Sensory Integration and Neuro-Developmental Therapy (Bobath). I am passionate about helping children achieve their full potential and always keeping the child at the centre of my care. I have worked in both the private sector and the NHS and have extensive experience working with children with a variety of conditions. I support children with functional difficulties such as: handwriting, self-care, visual perception, attention and motor skills and with conditions including dyspraxia, sensory processing disorder, downs syndrome, autism and ADHD. I can provide assessment, individualised programmes to address underlying difficulties, support parents and teaching staff to facilitate development, provide 1:1 therapy and advise on appropriate equipment and environmental adaptations. I am based in Henley-on-Thames and see children in their home or school settings in the surrounding area.
