I am a relaxed and calm independent occupational therapist with a real passion for providing high-quality services. I understand the significance of deciding to invest in private provision and therefore work closely with you to tailor the services offered in order to meet your needs.
As a young person’s occupational therapist, I have significant experience of working with neurodiverse children and adolescents in both school and residential settings. Sensory Integration underpins all elements of my occupational therapy practice and informs my approach to assessment and intervention. I am able to assist you to unpick and understand more about a child’s behaviour, provide a comprehensive sensory profile and write detailed reports to support the application for EHCP or additional provisions.
I am consistently able to engage clients who may otherwise struggle to build relationships with those around them and create a relaxed and friendly therapeutic environment. I will work with each client to understand their motivation and use this to ensure their occupational therapy provision is meaningful, interesting and fun.
As a vocational specialist, I provide thorough occupational health and workplace assessment. This is always followed by a robust report and recommendations for supporting an appropriate next step.
I practice as a treating therapist in the neurological rehabilitation medico-legal sector, providing consistently high-quality treatment and a close working relationship with the case management team.
I also provide clinical supervision to occupational therapist’s working within the statutory and private sectors.
